One very popular children’s party theme is a chocolate party.
So if your child has their heart set on a chocolate party.
And you are looking for activities and childrens party games.
To entertain the kids that will match this theme, here are a few ideas.

Activities for Kids Chocolate Party

  • Chocolate fountain – include fresh fruit as well as the usual sweet stuff like marshmallows – for dipping into the fountain.
  • Printable activities – you can find many word search or bingo games online which you can download and print off. This includes word search and other printable games that you can find on many of the big chocolate companies websites.
  • Craft ideas: each child decorates a plain t-shirt or pillowcase with fabric pens – using drawings of their favorite candy bars or make collages using chocolate wrappers.
  • Chocolate cupcake decorating: make basic chocolate flavoured cupcakes and provide bowls of assorted chocolate cake decorations like frosting, sprinkles, chocolate chips, chocolate shaped bits etc, and let the kids decorate their own cupcakes.

  • Piñata: you can find all sorts of different shaped Piñatas, so you could get one that is shaped in your child’s favorite candy bar.

You can also tweak many of the other games in this blog to adapt them to a chocolate theme. Such as relay races, for the baton use long thin chocolate bars. Or if it is Easter time, for the egg n spoon races use Easter eggs. And for party favors, as well as chocolates and candy, you could also include little chocolate scented items!
